With over 15 years leading Frost Media Relations, a boutique public relations firm, Karen Frost has spearheaded national, local and multi-city publicity campaigns for Fortune 500 companies, best-selling authors, a vast array of small businesses and professionals, and numerous nonprofits. Frost has served as a spokesperson for various clients, produced large and small events, and acted as a third party advocate for client causes. Frost was a key architect in the design, marketing and implementation of I Live Here, I Give Here’s successful annual online fundraising campaign, Amplify Austin. With millions of dollars being raised in 24 hours, the Austin American Statesman has said that the impact of Amplify Austin, “is a moment that future historians should note writing about the development of modern Austin.”
The behind-the-scenes work creating Amplify Austin is the motivator of KonnectFor. As Frost worked intimately with both Central Texas nonprofit and business communities, she listened and identified the growing need for a matchmaker to align goals and opportunities for making impactful social change around our community and the world as a whole.
Karen Frost lives in Central Texas with her husband, Charlie Levy. Together they find find fun with their two dogs, Melvin and Athena, and travel to off-the-beaten path places in Texas, USA and around the world.
